The San Juan de Capistrano Urbanization is a well-known residential area in Nerja, located at the foot of the Sierra Tejeda-Almijara natural park. It consists of approximately 500 homes of different sizes and types, and was designed as a reproduction of a typical Mediterranean white village, with wide avenues, well-maintained green areas, narrow streets full of flowers, and Andalusian atmosphere. It features a large community swimming pool for adults and a children's pool. Next to the pool, there is a spacious green area where you can rent sun loungers or eat something at any of the different snack bars in the pool area. It also has a supermarket just a few meters away and a large restaurant that only serves groups. Located about 2 km from the beach and the urban center of Nerja, it has an urban bus service every 45 minutes that includes the center of Nerja or its renowned beaches in its route.
