The Urb. San Juan de Capistrano is a well-known urbanisation in Nerja, located at the foot of the Sierra Tejeda-Almijara natural park. It consists of approximately 500 homes of different sizes and types, and was designed as a reproduction of a typical Mediterranean white village, with wide avenues, well-maintained green areas, narrow streets full of flowers, and Andalusian air. It has a large community swimming pool for adults and a children's pool. Next to the pool, there is a large green area where you can rent sunbeds or eat something at any of the different snack bars in the pool area. It also has a supermarket just a few metres away and a large restaurant that only serves groups. Located about 1800 metres from the beach and the urban centre of Nerja, it has an urban bus service every 45 minutes that includes the centre of Nerja or its renowned beaches in its route.
